MEMEstreets features photos of graffiti, cryptic markings, and found art, both deliberate and accidental, found in the San Francisco Bay area and documented with a Nikon digital camera. New photographs are posted three times a week, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Another instance of the Geisha-with-parasol image, from an artist apparently going by the handle “Burner”. A version in yellow and green was published previously on MEMEstreets (Here), and was found in the upper Haight-Ashbury. This was found in the lower Haight. Both are multicolored stencils on paper, which is pasted on a surface like a poster. Burner is also allegedly the creator of the two Geisha stencils found in Clarion Alley (HERE and HERE), and the Shaman stencils (HERE, HERE, and HERE).
