MEMEstreets features photos of graffiti, cryptic markings, and found art, both deliberate and accidental... discovered on city streets and documented with a Nikon digital camera. New photographs are posted three times a week, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. (For images of graffiti and more, please visit my Cafe Press shop, Visuocity.)

Elaborate multi-colored stencil found in Clarion Alley ( a block-long gallery of street art, murals and graffiti in San Francisco’s Mission District ).

There are several similarly complex and colorful stencils to be found in the alley; check out the photos, also posted on MEMEstreets. A second variation of this stencil, “White Geisha” with white kimono and a smaller and more rectangular frame, is located a few yards away; also nearby is an impressive multi-color stencil of a tribal-looking shaman figure.

Take a virtual tour of Clarion Alley using Google Maps, here.
